                Field Trip

We visited our local Girl Scout Shop to learn about Junior Uniforms and Badges

Next, we were off to visit our local ABC affiliate, KTRK, Channel 13.  We met their Emmy winning Investigative Reporter, Wayne Dolcefino.  He showed us really neat stuff that he uses to spy on people.  We saw some really cool mini cameras.

Then we got to watch the 11:00 Morning news and met the anchors, Melanie Lawson & Minerva Perez and weatherman Doug Brown.  They were sooooooooooooo nice and at the end of the newscast, we go to wave goodbye to everyone!

By then we were starving, so it was off to "The Flying Pig" for some yummy pizza.  They have a guy who tosses the pizza dough in the air and then catches it. 
We were stuffed!

Our next stop was the Star of Hope Mission, where we delivered the coats we had collected for our January Service Project.  We participated in the "One Warm Coat" program.

We were tired but not too tired for some play so it was off to Kolter Park for a little more fun.

We had a terrific time at the park but after all that play, we had worked up an appetite again.

So it was off to McDonalds for some ice cream before we headed home.

We had a really fun day!!
